The Golden Dispatch
Welcome to the Golden Dispatch, the creative art club of The Golden Troupe!
As a member of Char Reed Art, you're not just getting exclusive comic updates, behind-the-scenes looks at my artwork and a closer connection to the world I'm creating. You're also joining the Troupe as a Golden Courier.
Every month, Golden Couriers receive a creative mission, illustrated stationery, character-inspired prompts and collectible badges to mark their adventures.
Choose your favourite character to accompany you on your missions, or bring the entire Troupe along with the Whole Troupe experience.
How it works
1. Receive your monthly mission
Each month brings a new prompt to inspire a letter, a creative activity or a little kindness sent out into the world (hopefully all three at the same time)!
2. Create with the Troupe
Use your illustrated stationery and character-inspired prompts to write, create and explore the world through the eyes of Rioxia, Aspa, Qui and Morgh.
3. Collect your courier badges
Each mission comes with a new illustrated badge for your collection. Save it, display it or share it with other Golden Couriers online.

The Golden Dispatch is included in your existing Char Reed Art membership. There's no separate art club subscription to purchase.

What's the Royal Road anyway?
The Road Road is the first mail system in the world! It was created over 2,500 years ago, during the Achaemenid Empire.
At that time, no official system of mail delivery had existed and couriers going by foot took weeks, if not months to deliver messages. The royal ruling family instituted the Royal Road, hired riders and routes that used to take months to walk by foot now took less than 10 days!
It seemed only fitting that the Troupe sends it's tidings from the Royal Road, since they were there when it was still new.
Long stretches of this ancient path still exist today and there are places you can ride horses along the same paths that people millenia before had travelled!
