I have a limited amount of spots available at any one time in order to maintain quality, because your pets deserve to be purrfectly portrayed. So you can sign up below to get on the list to be contacted when my next round of portraits are available. I will be contacting this list frequently, so you should nab one when it's available!

FAQ
How long does a portrait take to complete?
The 6x6" acrylic pet portraits typically take about 1-2 weeks to complete, ship and arrive. However, backlogs and other factors may make this process take longer. I will always keep you up to date on the timeline and am happy to answer any questions you have. Please order 2-4 weeks in advance to make sure the portrait is completed before a specific deadline. Rush orders can be requested for an additional fee.
Do I need perfect reference photos in the exact pose and lighting the painting needs?
No, that's part of what sets my studio apart from the rest!
Perfect reference photos are of course, ideal, but not necessary. I find a lot of time is used up by waiting to take that perfect shot of your pet. As long as you have photos that show off your pet's markings and face clearly, I can use just about any photo to create a portrait, even blurry polaroids from 40-50 years ago!
My 30+ years of experience studying animals allows me to get the base shapes of any breed or species, you just need to supply the specifics from your pet. If a specific angle is needed to get the markings, then I'll let you know and a quick snap will usually suffice. Of course, photos are ideal, but detailed written descriptions are also alright, in the case of pets lost long ago that you would like to memorialise. Sit back and I'll take care of the rest!
Where do you ship?
Right now, I am only accepting orders from the US. I may expand if demand increases.

Meet the Artist
Celebrating the bond between people and animals is at the heart of what I do.
From memorialising a beloved family pet to exploring a past life full of adventures with animal companions to imagining creatures that don't even exist, I strive to make you feel something when you look at my art.
Sometimes admiration, sometimes awe, sometimes a little bit scared... Animals occupy all of these things in our minds at different times and I love exploring that connection.
I'm Char and I'm a Creature and Comic Creator.
